Researchers Mara Moita and Sofia Lynce from NICE_Lab (CIIS-UCP) were invited to take part in the Speech Therapy Research Forum organized by the Portuguese Society of Speech Therapy (SPTF), sharing studies, projects and materials developed in the areas of language, typical and atypical language acquisition and development, and deafness.

This forum brought together representatives from higher education institutions and research units to discuss the current state and challenges of research in the field in Portugal, with emphasis on the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, adapting to new technologies and promoting a practice based on scientific evidence.
