The Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa will hold the Opening Session of the PhDin Nursing on September 25, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. the Opening Session of the PhD in Nursing, which will take place in the Brazil Room, in the João Paulo II Library Building (1st floor), in Lisbon, with transmission to the Regional Center of Porto.

The session will feature institutional speeches, a moment of socializing, and then the Opening Lecture given by Peggy L. Chinn, Professor Emerita of Nursing at the University of Connecticut, entitled “Knowing and Empowering: Nursing's Place in the Academy.”

We will enthusiastically welcome the 31 new doctoral students.
