TSF - Coordinator of the Postgraduate Course in Breastfeeding in an interview

Speaking to TSF, pediatrician Graça Gonçalves, coordinator of the Postgraduate Course in Breastfeeding at the School of Postgraduate Studies and Advanced Training of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing at the Portuguese Catholic University, explains that, ideally, there should be a “natural weaning on the part of the child.” This is a process that can occur between the ages of two and a half and four. In some cases, it can be as late as seven years old. “It's nothing out of the ordinary, but it's seen as completely aberrant.”
