Professors Sílvia Caldeira, Helga Martins and Joana Romeiro, professors at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing and the School of Nursing (Lisbon), are the authors of the chapter Recognizing Spiritual Needs, included in the international book Spirituality in Healthcare: Perspectives from Psychosocial Care, published by Springer on April 21, 2025.

The book brings together contributions from experts from around the world and aims to deepen the reflection on the integration of spirituality in healthcare, with a special focus on the psychosocial dimensions.
