Research Pitch Day took place on May 13, 2026, as part of the Nursing Research II course, led by Prof. Sílvia Caldeira, Ph.D., with the collaboration of Prof. Rafael Bernardes, Ph.D., and Prof. Susana Miguel, Ph.D. 

This pedagogical strategy was designed to introduce undergraduate students to various research projects within the disciplinary scope of the Center for Interdisciplinary Health Research (CIIS), of which nursing research is also a part. Eight doctoral projects and one postdoctoral project were presented and discussed, with undergraduate students participating in the discussions.

Research PITCH Day thus proved to be an enriching opportunity to introduce undergraduate students to scientific research in nursing, promoting critical thinking, knowledge sharing, and exposure to different research pathways developed within the scope of CIIS.
