Catarina Valdigem, professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences, Catholic University, is the winner of the photography contest “Hope in Action,” promoted by CASUS - Catholic for Sustainability and the Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing, as part of the Jubilee Year 2025 - Pilgrims of Hope.

The portfolio “Paths of Hope” brings together ten analog photographs, taken between June and September 2025, “made in different places, cities, and countries, representing hope in the common humanity that walks this world.”

The photographs presented construct a visual journey that traverses themes such as faith, pilgrimage, innocence, affection, communion with nature, and commitment to the most vulnerable, highlighting symbolic places such as Lourdes and Covadonga.

The contest, promoted by CASUS and the Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing as part of the 2025 Jubilee Year, also included honorable mentions for participating employees and teachers.
