Nursing doctoral student Cristina Barradas won the Marjory Gordon Research Scholarship, announced at the gala dinner of the NANDA-I 2025 conference, which took place at the Portuguese Catholic University on June 5.

The competition involved 17 applications from nurses from different countries. The doctoral project is entitled “Decisional conflict of the family of critically ill patients: conceptual and qualitative validity of the nursing diagnosis”, supervised by Prof. Dr. Sílvia Caldeira.

The NANDA-I Foundation provides funding for nursing research studies related to standardized language and the development of nursing diagnoses.
