On October 4, the Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing celebrated the 20th anniversary of the PhD in Nursing, in a gathering marked by sharing, recognition, and gratitude.

The celebration brought together around 80 participants, including teachers, students, alumni, and advisors, and began with a Mass at the Parish Church of Fátima and the Little Shepherds, in memory and thanksgiving for all those who contributed to the program's journey over these two decades.

This was followed by the Official Commemorative Session at Quinta do Casalinho Farto, which featured speeches by Professor Sílvia Caldeira, Coordinator of the Doctorate in Nursing; Professor Paulo Alves, Deputy Director of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing; Professor Isabel Braga da Cruz, Pro-Rector for the Porto Campus; and Professor Isabel Vasconcelos, Vice-Rector of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa

The meeting was also a moment of reunion and celebration of the impact that the PhD in Nursing has had on advanced training and scientific research in Nursing.
