Closing session of the 6th edition of Advanced Training in Support Technologies for Inclusion with the support of the MEO Foundation

The 6th edition of the Advanced Training in Supportive Technologies for Inclusion ended this Saturday, June 28th, with the discussion of the final works developed by the 30 trainees, including teachers and therapists.

The closing session was attended by Prof. Dr. Ana Mineiro in her capacity as Director of FCSE, Eng. Daniel Freitas representing the MEO Foundation and the coordinators of this advanced training, Eng. Luís Azevedo, in person, and Prof. Dr. Joana Rato, remotely.

Recognized as one of the main promoters of technological solutions for communication accessibility in Portugal, the Altice Foundation, and now the MEO Foundation, has already supported 6 editions of the Advanced Training in Support Technologies for Inclusion, bringing the total number of professionals trained in this area to 182.

Held under the scientific coordination of FCSE-UCP, this course continues to be a training reference for education professionals to consolidate their knowledge of multiple technological accessibility solutions that facilitate daily practice with students with complex communication needs.
