The Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa will hold the Opening Session of the Master's Degree Programs in Neuropsychology and Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience on September 8, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., in the Discovery Room, João Paulo II Library Building (1st floor).
The program will feature the Inaugural Lecture given by Professor Albino Oliveira Maia (Champalimaud Foundation), entitled “Localization of targets for brain stimulation with maps of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder lesions.”
The session will also feature presentations of projects by Master's students, highlighting their research work and the diversity of their educational backgrounds:
- Mariana Varandas — “Teleneuropsychology: reliability and acceptance in memory tests” (Master's in Neuropsychology)
- Maeva Pinget — “A dive into the social behavior and neuroepigenetics of zebrafish” (Master's Degree in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience, Fundamental Branch)
- Rita Pires de Oliveira — “Applied Neuroscience: Sharing a journey in the field of Dementia” (Master’s Degree in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience, Applied Branch)
This moment marks the beginning of another academic year dedicated to training and research in the fields of Neuropsychology and Neuroscience.
