"World Health Day 2026, which falls this Tuesday, the 7th, is celebrated under the World Health Organization (WHO) theme 'Together for health. Stand with science,” serves as a global call to renew trust in science and to strengthen interdisciplinary and international cooperation for the benefit of human, animal, and environmental health. According to the WHO, this call celebrates scientific achievements and prioritizes the transformation of practices based on the best available evidence. Ultimately, it is about transforming health for the greater good of people, based on rigorous, serious knowledge produced by all those involved. The impressive number of scientific institutions (nearly 800) and countries (more than 80) that have embraced this challenge seems to affirm the necessity and the realization of this goal."
