In a partnership between the Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing (FCSE) and the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), several actions took place during the Mind, Brain and Education week organized by UFPA between June 24 and 28, 2025.
Prof. Joana Rato, a lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing, hosted a scientific dissemination session for 8th and 9th grade students at the UFPA School of Application to discuss the main day-to-day care needed to ensure better learning, highlighting the role of sleep and its relationship with memory consolidation.
Ana Mara Coelho, a doctoral student at UFPA who has been in mobility at FCSE for 7 months on a scholarship, held a Qualifying Examination on the Study of Mathematical Anxiety, Arithmetic Skills and Mathematics in the context of this week of activities.
She also had the collaboration of Professor Joana Rato as an external examiner on the jury, along with Professors Guilherme Moura, Tadeu Oliver Gonçalves, João Bento Neto and Elielson Sales from UFPA's Institute of Mathematical and Scientific Education.
