Generic Bio

Miguel Pais-Vieira is a FCT Investigator with a PhD in Human Biology (2009). We study neurobiological mechanisms of somatosensory integration and develop Brain-Machine Interfaces in rodents and humans. For human studies we combine non-invasive EEG recordings with behavioral tasks. For rodents studies we use multielectrode recordings in awake behaving rodents.
