This course aims to give students the opportunity to learn how to develop a research project in one of the Neuroscience areas. It is intended that students apply some of the skills and knowledge acquired in previous courses and be able to:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles and relevant theories in the specific area of neuroscience chosen for the project.
- Conduct a critical review of the relevant scientific literature, identifying gaps in existing knowledge and justifying the importance of the proposed study.
- Apply scientific research methods to investigate specific questions related to neuroscience.
- Develop a detailed research plan, selecting the appropriate method and experimental design and considering relevant ethical issues.
- Reflect on the scientific research process.
- Develop teamwork skills.
