The Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing and the School of Nursing (Lisbon) of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), leading academic units, have just taken a significant step forward in the quality of their teaching and research by integrating highly qualified lecturers in various areas of knowledge. This academic renewal represents an important milestone in strengthening the institution's pedagogical and scientific excellence.
The Faculty now has specialists in Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, Portuguese Sign Language (LGP) and Nursing. These academic disciplines allow for multidisciplinary and innovative teaching, promoting the integration of fundamental knowledge for understanding Global Health. The inclusion of LGP, in particular, underlines UCP's commitment to accessibility and inclusion in higher education. Nursing has taken on five new Assistant Professors. These professionals have extensive clinical and academic experience, reinforcing the link between theory and practice, which is essential for training highly qualified nurses who are prepared for contemporary health challenges.
