- Acquire basic knowledge for studying the Nervous System and it´s relationship with behavior, particularly at the level of structure and function of nervous system cells.
- Gain basic knowledge of Neurophysiology, Neurobiology and Neurochemistry, necessary for a basic understanding of intraneuronal and interneuronal communication and plasticity.
- Identify and describe the structure and function of neurons, including their electrical properties and the role in signal transmission in the nervous system.
- To acquire knowledge about the mechanisms of plasticity that contribute to the nervous system's response to pathology and brain injury.
- Contribute to acquiring necessary knowledge to develop an integrated view of the nervous system and various phenomena in different areas of neuroscience, complementing other CU'
