This Course aims to introduce students to programming languages, in particular Python, and to promote their application to neuroscience issues. It is intended that students will develop small projects in groups while acquiring the programming skills that they will develop in subsequent courses.

Students are expected to:

• Demonstrate proficiency in programming fundamentals, including the implementation of algorithms using variables, flow control structures (loops), identification and correction of errors, and the development of scripts and functions in Python.
   
• Apply knowledge of specialized packages for scientific computing, such as NumPy and SciPy. Perform statistical analyses of databases in Python.
