The PhD in Cognition and Language Sciences and Neurosciences has a strong connection with the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Health (Centro de Investigação Interdisciplinar em Saúde (CIIS). In this center, the Translational Neuroscience Platform, led by Professor Ana Mineiro, houses the NICE_Lab: Neuroscience for Innovation, Communication & Education Lab.

Students will participate in the research activities of the laboratories and may carry out the activities of their theses’ research themes in the context of the research done in these laboratories, although they may also independently develop research not hosted by the laboratories.
