Neuropsychology 

4.5 ECTS / Semester / Inglês
  1. Understand the fundamentals of Neuropsychology history and development and how it is situated at the intersection between neuroscience, neurology, and psychology.
     
  2. Recognize and understand the main neuropsychological deficits, including their clinical manifestations, neurological causes, and implications for the individual's life.
     
  3. Master the principles of Neuropsychological Assessment and recognize the main neuropsychological assessment methods and tools used in different contexts.
     
  4. Master the principles of Neuropsychological Rehabilitation and recognize different intervention and rehabilitation strategies for individuals with cognitive deficits to improve their quality of life and functionality.
     
  5. Develop autonomy in bibliographic research and literature review in Neuropsychology and the ability for oral and written scientific communication.
     
  6. Develop critical thinking on Neuropsychological Assessment and Ethics.
