For three days, the Faculty of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing hosted the 9th Research Proposal Workshop, promoted by the European Oncology Nursing Society. The event was organized by Professor Susana Miguel and brought together an international group of participants and experts dedicated to research in oncology nursing.

The workshop was attended by six participants from different European countries, reflecting the international dimension of the initiative. The organizing team also included Professor Zeynep Karakus, from Akdeniz University Faculty of Nursing, and Professor Sara Colomer, from UNIL - Université de Lausanne.

Two PhD students in Nursing - one from Lisbon and the other from Porto - were also present and had the opportunity to participate actively in the discussion of the projects underway. Professor Mara Freitas was invited to contribute her experience in the area of ethics, a central theme in the development of research projects.

During the workshop, participants were able to share and critically discuss the various steps of the research project, in a collaborative environment of high scientific quality. The initiative reinforces the commitment of the FCSE and the School of Nursing to promoting research and advanced training in Nursing at European level.
